Tymos - The White Wing

This OC I developed for a good friend and Nephew, Timothy, son of

58Bluemarbles.  Thank you for all you've done for me, and countless

other Deviants on this site!  You are greatly appreciated!

Tymos, the White Wing is the son of the centuries old watcher turned

hero, Falcon Heart and the lovely cat-being Tine of the Ultra Realm.

Tymos, in the language of his mother's people mean; 'the best of two'.

Literally coming from two worlds, Falcon Heart and his wife Tine

wasn't sure if it were possible to conceive a child, but it happened.

Tymos was born on Earth, where his parents met.  He appeared

completely human at birth, and didn't seem to have either of his

parents abilities.  Tine's powers are based in the magic of the Ultra

Realm, while Falcon Heart's winged abilities are natural.  Tymos, or

Timothy, as he was called on Earth, lived a happy life, growing up

among humans.  He showed amazing athletic skills at a very young

age, but never had an interest in becoming an athlete.  Walking with

his mother (Who appeared human at her choosing), the, then, ten

year old Timothy suffered from a sudden fever, and collapsed to the

ground.  Tine, trained in the healing arts of her people, tried to help

her ailing boy, but none of her powers worked there on the street.

She summoned Falcon Heart telepathically, as she did, the wind

began to increase to almost gale force.  Falcon Heart can produce

winds of that level with his powerful wings, but he had not yet arrived.

Timothy's fever grow worse, Tine was forced to move the boy before

any authorities came.  Surprisingly, Timothy was light as air, but

not affected by the winds.  His father arrived just in time to see his

son develop feathered gliders from his arms, and head top ears much

like his mother's.  As suddenly as they appeared, his new features

regressed into his body, again appearing totally human.  The high

winds also disappeared, as the young child awoke.  Puzzled as to

what happened, Tine and Falcon Heart took Timothy to the Ultra

Realm, and to Tine's people.  There, they learned the truth.  Tymos

was a hybrid of his parents, who's paranormal powers were keyed

to his place of birth...Earth.  Over the years, Tymos learned to

perfect his powers, but chose not to follow his father as a guardian

of the humans.  At the age of twenty, Tymos wanted to learn more

about his heritage.  His father's land was out of reach, but his mother's

Ultra Realm was accessible.  There he learned about realm magic and

other mystic arts.  As the White Wing, Tymos used his abilities and

skills to defeat the villains and monsters of the realm he now called

home.  In time, Tymos wanted to be just Timothy again, so he took all

he had learned and returned to Earth.  Today, Tymos is still reluctant

to dawn the mantel of guardian, or “superhero”, like his father, but in

dire emergencies, the White Wing will assist his hero father against

the forces of evil.  On occasion, he also helps young Tecnicus, ward

of Falcon Heart, with crime fighting, but prefers to live a 'normal' life

with his girlfriend Debbie.  As Tymos, Timothy can control air currents

with a thought.  He has been known to create wind shields and

compressed air bubbles as an offensive weapon.  His arm flaps give

him the ability to fly at great speeds, up to the speed of sound.  He

can also propel himself under water if needed.  Thanks to his teaching

in the Ultra Realm, Tymos can appear human like his mother, while

on Earth, but not in the Realm.  Tymos is a skilled fighter, but prefers

not to engage in physical combat.
